‘Ah f**ok!’ UFC releases footage of Tony Ferguson reacting to Khabib Nurmagomedov’s retirement (VIDEO) — RT Sport Information
The resignation of UFC Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in October surprised even his closest confidante. But based on newly released footage from the UFC, few people seem to have taken the news harder than Tony Ferguson.
The undefeated Russian star ended his career almost two months ago shortly after graduating from Justin Gaethje in the second round on “UFC Fight Island”, thus signaling the end of one of the most successful combat careers in mixed martial arts.

Nurmagomedov told UFC commentator Jon Anik that he gave his mother his word that he would not pursue his fighting career outside the influence of his late father and coach Abdulmanap, who passed away in July after experiencing complications from COVID-19.
It was clearly an emotional moment for the whiny Nurmagomedov, who brought his career record forward to an unprecedented 29-0 but saved a thought for Ferguson – the man who seemed fate would never step in the cage with the Russian champions.
On five separate occasions the UFC attempted to book a fight between the top two lightweight fighters and five times it fell apart – and when Khabib made his cage announcement that October evening, he drove a stake through the heart of that fight, the ever took place, except for a dramatic change of heart by the Russians.
And if you’ve offered a dime for Tony Ferguson’s thoughts during all of this, the time for your reward has come – when the UFC released footage of several fighters – including Ferguson – responding to Khabib’s retirement speech.
And as you can see in the footage, he wasn’t too happy about it.
