Craig Robinson to Host ‘Masked Singer’ Spinoff – Deadline
Craig Robinson will host Fox’s newest celebrity competition series, The Masked Dancer. A new take on Fox ‘Emmy-winning The Masked Singer, the show features celebrities performing their best moves while dressing up in the original Grand and Campy costumes from the original series.
Hire the Dolemite Is My Name actor as the panelists are Ken Jeong, Paula Abdul and Ashley Tisdale. The stars, along with the audience, must guess the dancers’ identities as they play a range of dance styles together, from hip hop to salsa and more.
The mask dancer, which will premiere sometime in December, will have weekly clues to help viewers and panelists figure out which celebrities are behind the masks.
Guest judges and the show’s premiere date, inspired by a segment from the Ellen Show, will be announced shortly.

The Masked Dancer is produced by Fox Alternative Entertainment and Warner Bros Unscripted & Alternative Television and is based on the South Korean format The Masked Singer, which was published by Mun Bwa Broadcasting Corp. was created. James Breen, Craig Plestis, Dan Martin and Ellen DeGeneres are executive producers on the series. Breen will serve as the showrunner.
