Ex-Russian Premier League MVP Eto’o blasts Ballon d’Or as he doesn’t be a part of Ronaldo & Messi in Dream Crew — RT Sport Information
Barcelona legend Samuel Eto’o has claimed that “Africans do not exist” after being let out of three Ballon d’Or-named “Dream Team” lineups, causing disputes among fans and experts over those chosen by the judges Player has led.
Barcelona top scorer, Portuguese icon Cristiano Ronaldo and the late Argentine hero Diego Maradona were among the strikers chosen by the founders of the awards on the first of three best teams of all time.
Dutch magician Johan Cruyff and Brazilian playmaker Ronaldinho were in the second team, while world champion Thierry Henry and Spanish star Andres Iniesta in the second and third teams were among the chosen ones to make Eto’o invisible.
“How can [organizers] France Football picks three Ballon D’or teams with no African player among the 33? “Asked Osasu Obayiuwana, a major social media lawyer who was a member of FIFA’s Anti-Racism Task Force.
Yes, Samuel, when it comes to football success, “we don’t exist” when it comes to them … 😐

“It’s not believable at all. No, Samuel Eto’o, at least George Weah?”
The retired two-time Champions League winner Eto’o responded with the words: “We Africans do not exist.”
The comment from the former Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Chelsea striker hit more than 1.5 million on his Twitter.
“Like George Weah, you have made Africa shine on the world football scene. [Jay-Jay] Okocha and many others, “said one, marking ex-Chelsea and Ivory Coast target Didier Drogba in her response.
Another joked, “Maybe when they put Pele they thought he was African. All jokes aside, it’s a scandal and you, Samuel, continue to oppose this discrimination. Only people like you can make things happen.”
eto’o pls don’t say you are one of the best strikers and players in the world

@ setoo9 deserves to be at least in the 2nd team. When are Africans shown respect?

From an honest point of view I understand you, e.g. B. Ronaldo and Messi, they did it consistently because they may not know how many decades there are not easy to achieve! The question is, have the unmentioned candidates for one of the teams consistently done this for so many decades?

Not all supported Eto’o under the allegations that the announcement had shown the Africans a lack of respect. “Please don’t say you are one of the best strikers and players in the world,” replied one while another argued, “It’s not scandalous.
“The best African player is without a doubt you, Samuel, but you are no better than Ronaldo, Cruyff or [Marco] Van Basten as a striker. Who would take whose place? “
Sports journalist Usher Komugisha named Eto’o as one of nine players she would have picked up and mockingly suggested that in the eyes of the Ballon d’Or they might as well have played tennis.
“I’m not sure what the purpose of this tweet is,” replied one reader. “There are black players so it can’t be to suggest racism?
“”[They are] All of the fabulous players you mentioned but none would go on these teams before the selected ones. “
France Football named the Ballon d’Or Dream Team of all time and there isn’t a single African player. You might think that Samuel Eto’o, Didier Drogba, Mohamed Aboutrika, George Weah, Roger Milla, Jay Jay Okocha, Mustapha Hadji, Phillip Omondi and Rabah Madjer played tennis. 🤯🤦🏾♀️ pic.twitter.com/eTEVVG5PPo

Usher I’m not sure what the purpose of this tweet is. There are black players so it can’t be to suggest racism? All of the fabulous players you mentioned but none would go on these teams before the selected ones.

They did not include Asian and Australian players. Are you also racist towards them? … Let the competence create the balance here and stop this agenda “There must be representation of black men or women”. it doesn’t help anyone.

The 39-year-old Eto’o officially ended his brilliant career last year but was linked with a return to Spanish third division club Racing Murcia last month.
The Cameroon icon has been consistently recognized as one of the most successful stars to ever play the game. She participated in ceremonies such as the 2018 World Cup draw where he posed next to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Eto’o finished fifth in the vote for the 2009 Ballon d’Or, which Messi won ahead of Ronaldo.
He won the Russian Premier League Most Valuable Player at the end of a successful two-season game with Anzhi Makhachkala in 2013, despite suffering from racial incidents early in his career and attempting to leave the field at Real Zaragoza when he was during the Game was abused for Barca.
