‘Grocery store Sweep’ Debuts Sturdy; ‘SNF’ Slips Vs. Dodgers-Braves Recreation 7 – Deadline

Attention all buyers! ABC’s reboot of the classic supermarket game show Supermarket Sweep debuted Sunday night, overtaking all non-sporting tariffs. The season premiere, moderated by Leslie Jones, delivered 1.0 for adults between 18 and 49 years of age and 4.78 million viewers.

In addition to Supermarket Sweep, ABC’s Sunday roster was filled with other premieres, including season 31 of America’s Funniest Home Videos (0.5, 4.27 million), season two of the new Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (0.6, 3.84 million), and the second season of Card Sharks (0.4, 2.60 million).

NBC’s matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers stumbled on last week’s demo and received a rating of 2.8 when 9.43 million viewers watched the 49ers defeat the Rams 24-16. The game fell four-tenths each week, though those numbers are likely to be adjusted in the finals.

SNF certainly had competition from another showdown on the Los Angeles market: Game 7 of the National League Championship Series (1.8, 6.40 m) between the Dodgers and Atlanta Braves. The Dodgers won 4-3, making it their third World Series appearance in four years. Fox’s final numbers are likely to be adjusted in the finale, with The OT’s overflow (3.9, 13.61 million) leading into prime time.

On CBS, 60 minutes (0.8, 8.57 million) fell into the demo, while a film presentation of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (0.5, 2.74 million) was on after Clueless aired last week. The night of the network was booked by a repeat of mom.

Eventually, Pandora (0.1, 407,000) got stuck in the demo on the CW.
